Mrs. Asmaa al-Assad greets the children residing in the (Lhan al-Hayat) complex in the countryside of Damascus

Today, #Mrs. Asmaa al-Assad visited the children residing in the Lahn al-Hayat complex in the countryside of Damascus, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, and brought them gifts and shared the feast and joy with them.
Ms. Asmaa met with the supervisors of the complex and the surrogate mothers residing in it, who give the utmost care they can to care and protect the children and young people in this complex.
The supervisors emphasized that the issue of people of unknown parentage needs to strengthen society’s responsibility towards them, and that social media has recently contributed to spreading humanitarian incidents of infants who were left in the streets and in front of the doors of mosques and hospitals without knowing their lineage identity, and that the #Lahne_Al-Hayat complex received them and they became part of his family.
Dozens of children of unknown parentage reside in this complex, where they receive care, protection and upbringing that help them face life’s challenges and be active in their community.
