The Governor of Homs chairs the meeting of the joint passenger transport committee

Today, the Joint Passenger Transport Committee met under the chairmanship of the Governor of Homs, Engineer Namir Habib Makhlouf, in the presence of the provincial police chief and members of the committee.
During the meeting, the requests submitted by car owners to transfer their current routes within or outside the governorate were studied, as well as the requests submitted by the governorates in this regard, emphasizing the need for the committee to determine the routes and their tracks, noting the shortage in some of them through coordination with administrative units and directors of regions and districts.
The Governor of Homs stressed the importance of controlling the process of supplying cars and buses with fuel to ensure the transportation service throughout the day by studying the real need for all lines, emphasizing the technical examination of vehicles, studying the line’s staff and determining the actual need.
