In memory of the martyrs, President al-Assad and Mrs. Asma al-Assad participate in a celebration at the National Museum in Damascus

Faces of light. . . . . .and souls that caught the trigger and crossed. . . . .

In the presence of “Dignified Souls”, the National Museum in Damascus witnessed this evening an event celebrating the 106th anniversary of Martyrs’ Day, with the participation of President Bashar al-Assad and Mrs. Asma al-Assad.
The celebration, which was held by the Ministries of Defense and Culture, included a number of families of martyrs and their outstanding children, representatives of the army and armed forces, holders of medals of merit, directors of martyrs’ offices in the governorates, members of the diplomatic corps of Arab and foreign countries in Damascus, people of culture and art, owners of civil initiatives, and representatives of the external media .
The occasion was attended by the Minister of Defense who delivered the ceremony, the Ministers of Culture, the Presidency of the Republic and the Interior.
