The Governor of Homs, Engineer Namir Habib Makhlouf, the head and members of the Homs Governorate Council, met in the cultural center of Homs, in the presence of the deputy and members of the Executive Office.

The Governor of Homs stressed the role of the council members in shedding light on the places of defect and error and illuminating the concerns of citizens and their service problems, and the need to work on finding appropriate solutions to them through continuous communication with them and standing up to their needs and trying to reduce their burdens under difficult living conditions, pointing to the importance of increasing Activating the work of the temporary committees and the continuous evaluation of work and performance and correcting it for the better, stressing that serving the citizen is the main compass in the work, so it is necessary to combine the efforts of everyone and work as one team to achieve this end.

In turn, the head of the Provincial Council, Dr. Saer Khaddour, reviewed the council’s work mechanism and its experience through the temporary committees and their role in standing up to the service and living reality in the governorate.
A number of council members also made some interventions related to a number of service issues, especially those related to water, electricity and fuels.
