The funeral was attended by the Governor of Homs, Engineer Namir Makhlouf, Secretary of the Homs branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Omar Houriya, and the Commander of the Central Region, Major General Rafiq Kulthum, and official, military and civil activities.
