The Governor of Homs meets the expatriates of Wadi Al-Nadara within the work of the Expatriates Forum

Homs Governorate continues its meetings with expatriates within the work of the Expatriates Forum, where the Governor of Homs, Engineer Namir Makhlouf and Secretary of the Arab Socialist Baath Party Branch Omar Houriya met with the expatriates of Wadi Al-Nadara in the town of Al-Mashtaya

The forum included a presentation by the governorate about the investment map in various sectors of alternative energy, tourism, commercial and agricultural projects, and a scheme for the number and distribution of expatriates in the governorate and their investment opportunities in the administrative units to which they belong.
The Governor of Homs stressed that the Syrian expatriates have achieved important achievements in various parts of the world, and that care must be taken to take all necessary measures and steps to enhance communication with the expatriates and to maximize the level of their participation by making them realize that they are concerned, real partners and actors who can contribute to the development of the national economy through Through many means, expressing the governorate’s readiness to provide all facilities and incentives, pointing out the importance of continuing with more contributions to develop their villages and improve their service reality.
In turn, the Secretary of the Branch stated that today’s forum is an opportunity to learn about the expatriates’ visions in serving their local communities and their homeland to overcome the repercussions of the terrorist war that Syria has been subjected to during the past years and the difficult living conditions that have increased the impact of the unjust economic blockade imposed on Syria.
The interventions of the expatriates called for introducing the expatriates to the investment advantages and facilities provided to them and activating the committee of the Expatriate Association so that it would be able to create channels of communication between the expatriates and the heads of administrative units, which would contribute to introducing them to the development projects that the governorate needs and addressing the administrative problems they encounter in immigration and passports.
