After the distinguished results achieved by the #Al-Wathba football team in all age groups, and to support its career in the Republic Cup competitions, the Governor of Homs, Eng. Bassam Parsik, the President and members of the Board of Directors of Al-Wathba Club, and a number of fans and fans of the club, met in the presence of the heads of the governorate and city councils.
During the meeting, the Governor of Homs confirmed that Al Wathba’s obtaining the #men’s_league in football is an achievement for the team, pointing out that the next stage requires redoubling efforts and investing what has been achieved from advanced centers in the age groups in football for the club to continue providing the men’s team with football talents.
The Governor of Homs confirmed that Homs sport has a major role in enhancing the social situation in the governorate, and that work will be done to support and secure the requirements of Al-Wathba Club and the governorate clubs to achieve distinguished results.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Wathba Club, d. Youssef Salama said that the club’s management worked with the support of all fans and fans to achieve the first title in the league, but circumstances passed that kept the team away from the title and the ambition is now to achieve the Republic Cup title.
He stressed the need to re-evaluate the reality of the current investments in the club to remain supportive of the club, with an emphasis on providing all facilities to speed up the completion of two additional floors in the club’s land to be an investment project that would generate additional revenue for the club, referring to the board of directors’ plan to continue loving and harmonizing between Al Wathba Club and the rest of Homs clubs.
During the meeting, proposals for rehabilitating the grounds of Al-Baath facility stadiums were presented to alleviate players’ injuries, in addition to many proposals that contribute to the development of Homs sport.
