Re-launching the National Center for Excellence in Homs next year
Within the framework of completing the stages of rehabilitation of the National Center for Excellence in Homs Governorate, an expanded meeting of Minister of Education Dr. Darem Al-Tabbaa, Governor of Homs Eng. Bassam Parsik and Head of the Excellence and Creativity Authority in Syria Eng. Hala Dakkak, to discuss joint procedures to re-launch the center in Homs Governorate during the next year .
During the meeting, many issues were discussed, especially with regard to securing the competent teaching and administrative staff, and the formation of a specialized engineering team to complete maintenance work, as well as a detailed presentation of the stages of the project to implement the environmental park within the center.
The Minister of Education, Dr. Darem Al-Tabbaa, that the center will be the nucleus of a scientific technical center at the level of the Arab world, especially since it is equipped with all the requirements of technical and scientific development, pointing out that the center will be provided with a teaching staff that will be selected and trained by the Excellence and Creativity Authority, pointing out that there is a study to establish an environmental reserve within the center. And securing all its requirements to put it at the service of the educational process in cooperation with the Arab Center for Studies of Arid and Arid Zones (ACSAD).
For his part, the Governor of Homs, Engineer Bassam Parsik, referred to the technical and technical support and cadres provided by the governorate in order to reach the center to the current state, while continuing to provide support until its launch, and the presence of students in the center achieves a development point through interaction with the surrounding area.
In turn, Eng. Hala Dakkak explained that the preparations to equip the center in terms of construction, administration and education are proceeding in parallel in preparation for its launch at the beginning of the next academic year, in cooperation with the governorate, the Ministry and Military Construction, explaining that the preparations began about 3 years ago, but stopped due to the conditions of the Corona epidemic, which led to Stopping the construction works and rehabilitating the center.
