The inauguration of the Ghazwan Abu Zaid Sports Hall of the Directorate of Education in Homs

After the completion of the restoration and maintenance work #Ghazwan_Abu_Zayd_Sports Hall of the Directorate of Education in Homs was inaugurated today in the presence of the Minister of Education Dr. Darem Tabbaa, the Governor of Homs Engineer Bassam Parsik and Secretary of the Arab Socialist Baath Party Branch Omar Houriya, the President of the General Sports Federation Firas Mualla and the Police Commander Brigadier General Ahmed Shamiya.

During the opening, Minister Tabbaa stressed the importance of cooperation and coordination between the concerned authorities in accomplishing any work, pointing out that the maintenance of this hall was carried out in partnership between the Ministry of Education and the General Sports Federation, as it was fully equipped and will have a joint administration, and this experience will be generalized in the rest of the governorates.

It is noteworthy that Ghazwan Abu Zayd Hall serves four systematic educational games, namely basketball, handball, volleyball and badminton, in which school sub-teams and the central courses of the Ministry of Education are held, in addition to the exercises and matches of the Sports Federation.
